About Us

Here, children learn to use all of their senses to explore, experiment and express themselves to create something new and in the process learn how to think and how to learn, fall in love with learning and become lifelong creative thinkers. Our program offers children a variety of choices provided within a carefully planned indoor and outdoor environment. Emphasis is on learning through play in an environment planned to encourage discovery, independence and social interaction.

Based on the latest research on Early Childhood Education, Social Emotional Learning and Neuroscience, we offer families our commitment to empower your children by providing the learning experiences and loving care during the time when all of their core developmental changes take place so that they develop their emotional intelligence, creative thinking and academic knowledge to thrive all their lives.

At Harmony, we provide children a "home away from home" environment, where our child led approach allows us to follow these principles:

Children learn through play and hands-on inquiry, providing multiple activities throughout the day to create, explore, experiment, collaborate with each other and in the process love to learn.
Children learn in a social context, allowing children to learn from each other, lead by experienced and trained teachers in the area, be caring, empathetic to others and create together. Our Social Emotional Program is recognized as a CASEL-SELect program.
Children spend quality time outdoors every day, strengthening their muscles, learning from nature, experiencing the curriculum in different contexts and through all of their senses.
Our dedicated experienced educators utilize an individual learning approach.
Our curriculum follows Head Start Standards, teaches children about themselves and the world around them, and makes sure the children's unique individual approach to learning is respected and integrated in the learning.
Children learn to develop their own interests and strengths, they are listened to, and they are respected as individuals. They are intellectually stimulated to keep growing and learning respecting their unique rhythm.
Our small groups ensure students receive individual attention, and allow for a sense of belonging through participation.
Children learn to balance their emotions through the educators focus on developing emotional and communication skills.
Our English teachers are either native English speakers or proficient in English.
Children are supported through all areas of care and development, including napping, toilet training, multilingualism and special interests/needs.
Parents participate in their children's learning, teacher interaction, and Special Events through the use of an App.
Parents are supported year round, as the school offers exciting opportunities to participate and learn about their child's growth and school life.
We firmly believe that learning happens all the time and everywhere for children and the knowledge is deepened when their brain learns how to learn. Emotional intelligence and academic competence are achieved through an inquiry based playful environment with supportive educators. With this in mind, we support children's journey to loving learning for their entire life. This begins in an environment where there is no pressure to learn, but rather, an invitation to explore, play, and enjoy the process in each activity, together with a well planned and research based curriculum and best practices.
